The Brass Lantern Inn provided a wonderfully relaxing retreat. My room had a beautiful view of the mountains, with a cozy sitting area and a lovely fireplace. The breakfast each morning wowed me with its variety and quality. the bacon and cheese quiche was a standout! I especially appreciated the homemade cookies during the afternoon. The hot tub was another highlight, offering stunning views of the area while unwinding. The hosts made everything feel personal, adding little touches like fresh fruit and the option of complimentary disposable slippers. However, the coffee at breakfast didn’t match the rest of the dining experience. It was weak, lacking the bold flavor I enjoy. Also, the pillows in my room could have been a bit fluffier, and I did notice creaky floors that might disrupt a light sleeper. Overall, the charm and comfort made for a great stay despite the minor inconveniences.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We enjoyed walking the Stowe Recreation Path and skating at Spruce Peak Village. The breakfasts were hearty and delicious, and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The cozy atmosphere and comfy rooms made our stay truly enjoyable.
One downside was that it could be tricky to get in and out of the driveway at times.

100% recommend for a weekend rest
Comfortable room, friendly hosts, with a beautiful view of the mountains and delicious breakfasts that were packed for us to take on our early flight, ensuring we never went hungry before traveling.
Could not be improved in any way.

The hot tub with mountain views was a stunning highlight.
I faced challenges with the comfort of the pull-out couch. It was uneven and quite hard to sleep on, resulting in an uncomfortable night's rest. Additionally, the numerous stairs made lugging our suitcases a taxing experience that detracted from our enjoyment.
